Fall 2020

Welcome back!

It is hard to believe that it has been 6 months since everything was shut down in March. We wanted to reach out to our patrons and let them know that we are here and open, we understand that as things continue to progress, new fears are found and concerns are raised. We want to assure you that the Petawawa Public Library is taking every precaution to ensure that the staff and members of the public are as safe as possible.
We would like to remind our patrons that if you are not comfortable with coming into the Library we do offer contactless pick-up by contacting the front desk.

Ontario Public Libraries Week

October is Canadian Library Month! During this month, libraries and library partners across Canada raise awareness of the valuable role libraries play in Canadians' lives. In Ontario, we celebrate our public libraries during Ontario Public Library Week  (OPLW), the third week of October.
This year we will be hosting different activities around the library, we have our very special guest Librarian who will assist you on your adventure to find some rather special and unique book displays. We will be launching our Teen and Adult Book Box Subscription Program. A library sized hopscotch around the children's department. As well as other activities and programs.
