All Booked- Book, Media, and Marigold Sale Thursday, May 9- Saturday, May 11: During Library operational hours
Rotary Room/ Lobby The Marigolds for Moms Campaign is back, celebrating mothers while raising money for the Petawawa Public Library. During the three days preceding Mothers Day, flowers in specially decorated pots will be on sale in the library’s lobby for $5. A for-donation book/media sale will also be held in the Rotary Room with the proceeds going to the library.

Children's Program Room Bring your family, friends and enjoy the 1998 film Babar: King of Elephants (Run time: 80 minutes) Babar grows up to become king of the elephants. After his mother is killed by a hunter, Babar goes to live in the big city and learns all about the ways of people. Returning to the jungle, he uses his knowledge to end a war with the rhinoceroses and to build a beautiful city for the elephants. Popcorn provided. Free Program/ 3+ Drop-in (space is limited to the first 20 people)

Kindergarten Readiness - Fine Motor and Pre-Printing Skills Wednesday, May 29: 6:30 pm
Rotary Room Join the Petawawa Public Library for this amazing partnership with Occupational Therapist- Taunia Clouthier MSc OT Reg. (ON) This workshop is designed to help parents better understand the building blocks of printing and the typical development of fine motor skills that can assist in getting your child ready for school. Topics include pencil grasp, colouring, drawing, letter recognition, letter formations, scissor skills and teaching your child to print their names. Learn fun and easy activities to use in a FUN binder that can be readily available and taken anywhere! Bring your questions or concerns and discuss them with a professional. Refreshments Provided.
