BIAK EarlyON- Indigenous Teachings and Drumming Tuesday, January 21: 10:30 - 11:30 am Children's Program Room BIAK – Bonnechere Inòdewiziwin Abinòdjìnjish Kikinàmàgan Bonnechere Family Child Care Services are providing Indigenous and Algonquin teachings, Algonquin language, crafts, storytelling, and drumming. They provide activities, games and stories for youth, parents and educators about Indigenous peoples’ culture, history and languages. Drumming and singing with the Kichi Sibi Women Drummers is encouraged by all using children’s drums provided by the BIAK EarlyON. Do-Re-Me and Baby Music Time Wednesday, January 8, 15, 22, & 29: 10:30 - 11:00 am & 11:15 - 11:45 am Children's Program Room
This program is for newborns to 24 month olds and their caregivers. Laura's Music Studio has partnered with the library to make baby’s first class musical! Laura offers a sensory-rich yet caring and gentle environment where infants can explore and react to new sounds, sensations, and objects. Shared activities for babies and their caregivers provide the opportunity to strengthen your connection with your child through joyful music-making experiences. $14 for 4 weeks per child Registration Required Ages: 0-24 months

Teddy Bear Sleepover Saturday, January 25: 2 - 3 pm Children's Program Room Have you ever wondered what happens at the library when it’s closed? Join us for a Teddy Bear sleepover and we will spill all our secrets to your cuddly friends. We will do bear crafts and a story time about bears. At 3 pm, we will tuck our bears in for their sleepover and you can pick them up on Monday January 27th. When you pick up your bears, you'll find out all about the fun they had during their sleepover.
