Chosen months in advance, this year's theme for National Library Week has been flipped to reflect what is happening in our communities and especially our libraries. New! Weekly Meditation Classes Online
Online Meditation Classes
Thursdays beginning April 23 at 6:00 p.m.
and
Saturdays beginning April 25 at 3:00 p.m.
This meditation class is for everyone - beginner or pro. The purpose of this meditations is to foster our sense of connection within and to others. We will practice some tools to regain our balance of mind and bodies. Research shows that practicing meditation as a skill can help to manage anxiety, stress, and worry. We will practice some skills in compassion and mindfulness meditation to help us cultivate our capacities of friendliness, strength, wisdom, calm, kindness and balance.
Participants must register online and provide as email address in order to receive a Zoom Meeting invitation to join the live class.

Great Decisions Online Discussion
Tuesday, May 12 at 7:00 p.m.
Our Great Decisions Discussion is moving online! Participants should watch the video prior to the discussion which will begin at 7:00 p.m. using Zoom. Participants must register online to receive the link to join the Zoom meeting. May's topic is Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking (Video 4). The accompanying video is "Unchained: The Scourge of Human Trafficking."
May's book is "The Mysterious Affair at Styles (Hercule Poirot Mysteries #1) by Agatha Christie. Participants must register online and provide an email address. Evening Book Discussion

April's book is "Funny, You Don't Look Autistic: A Comedian's Guide to Life on the Spectrum by Michael McCreary." This book is available to download at eLibraryNJ. Participants must register online and provide an email address. The link to the Zoom meeting will be sent by email 15 minutes prior to the discussion.
