Coming Soon!
July 1st – NJ Library Construction Bond Act regulations released.
Applications for funding will be submitted this fall.
At long last the State Librarian has announced that the Library Construction Bond Act regulations will be released on July 1st. Unfortunately, the way bureaucracy works, it will still be three months before the town can submit an application for the remaining funding. I expect the earliest we can hope to receive actual funds will be in January of 2020. Still, the end is in sight. You can read the full State Library update on our website at CranburyPublicLibrary.org.
The Library Board has been working hard to have everything ready to apply for the grant as soon as possible. Our new library project is shovel ready and we have raised more than enough of the matching funds needed to complete the project. Look on the library website to view perspective renderings of the new facility like the one above.
While we wait you can still stop in the current library to enjoy a Universe of Stories! Come learn about the sky at ourAstronomy for Everyone class. See a complete listing of events below.
