Invite us to your classroom so your students can learn about and create a poem in the Japanese poetic form of Haiku. Afterwards students will submit their poem to our annual Poetry Contest.
Schedules pending, local award-winning poet and librarian Tracie Padal may be available to assist: contact Jessica Sabella at jsabella@palatinelibrary.org to set up a workshop.
This one hour workshop is for grades 7-8.
If you're looking for a poetry workshop for older students, 9-12, (including black-out poetry or magnetic poetry) please contact us for more information.
