Ho Ho Ho! Holiday fun. Every branch offers stories, songs, and photo ops with Santa. On Dec. 8 only, the Jax Mayorthon Kids Club partners with the Main Library's Santa Stops and Photo Ops to promote bicycle safety with games, giveaways and prizes. Pics with St. Nick are from 11 a.m. – noon only, and Kids Club Safety Stop runs 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Find dates and locations for more Santa Stops and other cool stuff such as an ice cube challenge, holiday movies, gingerbread house making, and crafts all month.

Party like it's 1968! Put on your tie-dye and bell-bottoms for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Murray Hill Branch Library Dec. 15. The fun starts at 11 a.m., and everyone is invited to hear special guest speakers, take part in groovy activities, watch a brief video, enjoy refreshments and music, and be surprised by an awesome reveal.
