When school's out EPIC Summer adventures begin at your library—all for free! Keep kids engaged and learning to help prevent summer slide—the loss of valuable skills seen in students who don't read over summer break. Sign up kids from birth to age 18 for fun, games and awesome prizes so they can jazz it up, move to music, make magic, clown around, meet Ronald McDonald, cook a book, explore 3-D technology, go on a Zoofari and more! We're waiting for you to come back to the library! We loved having DCPS K-2 students in our library branches so they could use their new Student Cards! Some have returned, but many we're still waiting to see again so they can exchange the books they took out for new ones.
As we said when we started the Student Card initiative, there will be no overdue fines for the books the kids took out. Just bring the book(s) back to any branch library and stop in to grab a new one. Thank you for your support!
