DetectoristsFollows the lives of two eccentric metal detectorists, who venture through open fields in hopes of unearthing the fortune of a lifetime.
Jess: Adult Services "The scenery in this series is so beautiful. It is not your typical series loaded with suspense or violence. It is a sit back and enjoy yourself type of series with characters you will grow to love. Just watch as you see relationships between friends and lovers grow dotted with a good dose of humor all the while looking for a golden coin."

Molly's GameThe true story of Molly Bloom, an Olympic-class skier who ran the world's most exclusive high-stakes poker game and became an FBI target.
Karen: Adult Services "I have an appreciation for movies that tell a story based on actual facts. Here is a resourceful young woman that solved her financial problems, unfortunately, not in a legal way."

Winter KillsThe brother of an assassinated American president tracks down the murderers but finds his father involved in the plot. Gerry: Administration "Based on the Richard Condon book, this is a sprawling, madcap, counterfactual unraveling of the 1960 assassination of President Kegan. A dying man's confession sends the president's brother on a chase to find the truth 19 years later, but it only results in everyone he runs into being killed by unseen conspirators. Black humor at its best."

Thor, Ragnarok Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, Thor races against time to free himself and stop Hela from destroying Asgard. Gina: Young Adult Services
"The newest Thor movie departs from the normal melodrama to a more comedic take. Chris Hemsworth is fantastic as Thor as well as Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Mark Ruffalo as Hulk." |

Inconvenient TruthFollows Al Gore's campaign to educate the public about the dangers of global warming
Virginia: Librarian Substitute
"This movie tells Al Gore's personal involvement and lifelong commitment to reversing the effects of global climate change. An Inconvenient Truth presents a wide array of facts and information supporting the case that global warming is real, and its effects will be cataclysmic if we don't act to prevent it. I enjoyed the frequently humorous ways Gore presents the information. I'm looking forward to viewing the follow-up film entitled An Inconvenient Sequel : truth to power which was produced a decade later (2017)." |

Lady Bird Seventeen-year-old Lady Bird McPherson struggles to balance the challenges of her last year of high school with her family relationships. Laura: Adult Services "I loved this heartwarming coming-of-age movie for its realistic script, smart dialogue, and relatable characters. Writer and director Greta Gerwig beautifully captures the rewards and challenges of friendship, family, love, growing up, and leaving home. Lady Bird definitely deserves all of its awards and accolades."
