The Good Liar When a con man sets out to swindle his new mark, a wealthy widow, he discovers that she has many secrets of her own. Jess: Adult Services "Although I had the con figured out early in the movie, I still enjoyed watching it play out. It was a joy to witness good win out over evil."

Dumplin'Self-proclaimed fat girl Willowdean Dickson (dubbed “Dumplin’” by her former beauty queen mom) has always been at home in her own skin. With her all-American beauty best friend, Ellen, by her side, things have always worked . . . until Will takes a job at Harpy’s, the local fast-food joint. There she meets Private School Bo, a hot former jock. Will isn’t surprised to find herself attracted to Bo. But she is surprised when he seems to like her back. Laura: Adult Services "This feel-good, body positive movie, full of Dolly Parton music, drag queens, and Southern beauty pageant drama is pure joy. I watched this with my teen daughter, who also enjoyed it. This is the perfect movie for escaping the winter (and current events) blahs. Available on Netflix. If you don't have a Netflix subscription, you can check out a Roku from the library."

ANZAC Girls Tells the story of the nurses that served with the Australian Army Nursing Service on the Western Front during World War I. Nadge: Adult Services
Have you watched the Call the Midwife series? If it's a favorite, tune into the Anzac Girls as the Australian Army nurses face death, love, and duty in disheartening circumstances during World War I. The first draft of Sisters in the Australian Army Nursing Services (AANS) left Australia in September 1914, and throughout the war, the Nursing Service served wherever Australian troops were sent, and numerous other countries besides these." |

Jane: Circulation Department "Parasite made history by being the first foreign-language film to win the Oscar for Best Picture in 2020. It also won for Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best International Film. With those credentials, it is definitely worth seeing this gasp-inducing thriller of a movie, and with as little prior knowledge about the plot as possible. Yes, Parasite is a Korean film with subtitles, but don’t let that stop you from seeing this “nerve-wracking masterpiece."

Wonderful show for folks that are young or 'young at heart.'"
