National Lampoon's Animal House Follows the exploits of a rowdy fraternity at a small Northeastern college.
Dan: Circulation "I decided to go "Old School" a couple of weeks ago and watch a long time favorite National Lampoon's Animal House. I've enjoyed this movie since it came out in 1978 directed by John Landis, produced by Ivan Reitman and Marty Simmons. Starring John Belushi and a cast of young start-ups who are fun to recognize. It contains some of the funniest scenes and most memorable lines; FOOD FIGHT!!! and "Oh no! Seven years of college down the drain!". So, if you would like to enjoy an evening as the kids go back to school, this is a great way to do it!"

Sky HighThe son of two legendary superheroes tries to hide the fact that he has no super powers from his parents.
Maxx: Technical Services
"Before the time of Marvel and DC comic book movies. Movie studios had to create their own unique super heroes. Disney's family super hero film Sky High was ahead of its time. Featuring actor Kurt Russell (Guardians of the Galaxy 2) and actress Mary Winstead (10 Cloverfield Lane). The jokes are corny and light hearted for a PG comedy from 2005. Audience is intended for kids and families."

Foul Play A librarian is propelled into a world of chase scenes and bizarre attempts on her life after she hears a secret code. Liese: Substitute Librarian "This hilarious 1978 comedy/mystery stars Goldie Hawn as a librarian. She becomes involved with a murdered detective, whose last words to her are "beware of the dwarf." The detective's body disappears. Goldie, as Gloria Mundy, unwittingly holds a key piece of information sought after by a nefarious group. Chevy Chase, comes to her rescue against various adversaries, including an evil looking albino. Dudley Moore provides great comic relief as conductor of the opera where something terrible is supposed to take place. The hills of San Francisco provide for a memorable, rollercoaster-like chase scene. Despite being a comedy, viewers are held in suspense until the end."

Nadge: Adult Services "Revitalizing the careers of Joan Crawford and Bette Davis, this murderous and macabre 1962 film sparked a new sub-genre of horror some have referred to as the grand dame horror film. Watch the Hudson sisters as their past jealousy and enmity erupts. This is Family Feud in the bizarre extreme!" |

Football is my favorite team sport, and I love the backdrop of Notre Dame College for this movie. I can't remember ever rooting for someone as hard as I did for Rudy as he steadfastly tries to get on the Notre Dame football team. Well worth your viewing time."
