Fall 2014 Leisure Learning begins Monday, Sept. 15th! We are pleased to announce that Leisure Learning is once again open to residents of any community! The Fall 2014 session of Leisure Learning runs from Sept. 15th - Nov. 10th (No session Monday Oct. 13) This continuing education program offers adults eight Mondays of morning lectures in art, music, literature, history, politics, and current affairs, as well as eight afternoon musical performances. Registrants can attend three of the many program choices offered each Monday for the entire eight week semester. Fees $25 for Bernards Township residents and $75 for non-residents. Pre-registration Required Registration brochures have been mailed out to those who attended the program in the past calendar year. Additional registration brochures will be available, beginning September 2nd, via download on our webpage or for pickup at the library. Help is available Monday-Friday from 3:00-5:00 PM and Saturdays from 1:00-3:00 PM. Introduction to Aromatherapy

Liz Hoffmann of 5 Element Wellness will outline the basics of aromatherapy. Her practice is based on the Traditional Chinese Five Element Theory, which correlates the health of body, mind and spirit. Learn how, when, and why essential oils are therapeutic. Hear suggestions on what oils may help with common conditions ranging from headaches to digestive issues to insomnia.

"From Jazz to Soul" with Rhonda Denet & the SFS Trio

This series will focus on select artists and dig more deeply into fewer works. It's an emerging movement called "Slow Art".
