KNIT A SQUARE IS BACK! Information is available at both the Adult and Children's circulation desks. |
|
February is a wonderful time to open our hearts and give. Together the Adult, Teen and Children Departments invite you to participate in a month-long program aimed at benefiting orphans in South Africa. At its heart, Knit-A-Square is a simple knitting for charity project. During the month of February, we will be collecting 8-inch squares. Every square collected will be sent to South Africa to be used in making a blanket to keep an orphan or abandoned child warm. KNIT A SQUARE! MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Not a knitter? We welcome ca$h donations to defray shipping costs.
