The Henry Cobb Family is the first volume in the projected Friends of the Pilgrims Series which will eventually include the families of John Barnes, John Churchill, Daniel Cole, James Cole, John Doane, John Faunce, John Holmes, Samuel Ryder and John Shaw.  All of these families settled not long after the Pilgrims arrived and were neighbors, intermarried and were friends -- thus the series name.
