In July of 2008, former Senator and Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen and his wife, author and playwright Janet Langhart Cohen, hosted a conference entitled "Race & Reconciliation in America" at the National Press Club.  This book is a transcript of that proceedings, edited by the Cohens.
