Humanities Kansas Book Talk Thursday, March 28 from 2 - 4 PM Our "Talk About Literature in Kansas" book discussion series from Humanities Kansas Spring 2019 theme is "A Woman's Place. What is a woman's place? Who decides? Join us for Zora Neale Hurston's Their Eyes Were Watching God. Janie, first treated as a "mule" and later as a "queen," searches for a companion who will treat her as an equal. Books will be available for you at the 2nd floor Reference Desk.

Talk20MHK Thursday, March 28, 7 - 8:30 PM The goal of Talk20MHK is to build strong community connections through the sharing of stories, skills, and knowledge. Up to eight individuals will give dynamic presentations with 20 PowerPoint slides, speaking for 20 seconds describing each slide. We don't know what we'll learn, but we know it will be exciting!
