Chair Yoga for Seniors Fridays, December 7 through January 11, 10:30 a.m. Lakewood Branch Yoga is an excellent way for older adults to loosen and stretch painful muscles, reduce stress, and improve circulation. It also reduces anxiety, helps lower blood pressure, protects joints, and builds strength and balance. Staying seated means that even frail seniors or those who aren't flexible can safely do the exercises. Join us for this six-week course of gentle chair yoga. Beginners or Experienced chair yogis are welcome! All classes are free of charge - a gift to the Lakewood Library in memory of Neva Nell Harris.
