Tax Help ContinuesThrough April 18th Various Library Locations The Library is hosting volunteer tax preparation assistance from AARP and VISTA at 18 of our locations through April 18th. Please call ahead to confirm availability as sessions fill quickly. In addition, through a partnership with the Dallas Office of Economic Development and the IRS, you can now e-file your taxes at any DPL location. Five dedicated laptops and a secured wi-fi connection are available at all locations and offer access to Facilitated Self-Assistance tax filing. This means you can file your taxes any time a library is open between February 1st and April 18th. Do you want to confidently find the best routes and ride with traffic? Get the knowledge you need to take to the streets! Come to the downtown library for a fast-paced presentation and discussion on urban biking. No bicycle or experience is required, and the class is free and open to the public. All participants will receive free safety lights!

Less than 10% of Wikipedia’s contributors identify as female, resulting in a knowledge gap of entries about women. Help change that! Join us for an all-day communal updating of Wikipedia entries on subjects related to art and feminism. We will provide tutorials for the beginner Wikipedian, reference materials, and refreshments. Bring your laptop, power cord, and ideas for entries that need updating or creation. For the editing-averse, we urge you to stop by to show your support.
