Isaiah's Daughter
by Mesu Andrews

What it's about: When five-year-old Ishma is orphaned, the prophet Isaiah takes her in, eventually adopting her and naming her Hephzibah, which means "delight of the Lord." Growing up, she becomes friends with Hezekiah, a prince who's destined to become the King of Judah...and her husband.

Who's it for? Those who like sweeping, well-crafted stories about lesser-known historical figures and those who like learning about the Old Testament through fiction.
Until We Find Home
by Cathy Gohlke

Things don't go as planned, and Claire, who has no experience with kids, must go too. In England, she takes her charges to her estranged aunt's Lake District estate, where she meets a kind man and learns more about children and God.

Look for: cameos by Beatrix Potter and C.S. Lewis in this well-researched novel depicting the plight of young refugees.
Imperfect Justice
by Cara Putman

Video evidence suggests Kaylene is guilty, but neither Emilie nor Kaylene's brother, Reid, believe she would harm her girls...though their father might. Reid fights for custody of hospitalized Kinley and tries to clear Kaylene's name; Emilie helps, even as she deals with a stalker.

Series alert: Though this is the 2nd compelling romantic suspense novel in the Hidden Justice series, it can be read on its own.
