Blizzard of '78 Saturday, February 3, 1:00 pm February 6, 2018 marks the fortieth anniversary of what the Evening Bulletin called, “the worst snow storm in RI history.” Alan R. Earls, author of “Greater Boston and the Blizzard of ‘78” will be here to share stories, photos and memories about the storm and the days following that still cause a run on bread and milk when snow is in the forecast. Bring your own stories and join us for an afternoon of memories and local history.

Meditation and Near-Death ExperiencesWednesday, February 7, 6:30 pm Humans have had “Near-Death Experiences” since time began. Scientific advancements have made them more common and well documented. Join Dr. Post, for a glimpse into the world of those that have experienced a NDE. Hear about their commonly reported experiences, the transformative effects it had on their lives, and how Spirituality emerges as the link with profound implications for us all. He will also share a simple technique of meditation (explained and practiced during the session) that can help us achieve a lasting state of peace and happiness like the one reported by people who have experienced NDE.
