Fairy & Gnome Garden WorkshopMonday,September 26th 6pm-7pm Registration Required Ages 8-12 Children ages 8-12 are invited to join in the fun as they use their imaginations to create a tiny world for our wee flower-fairy and garden-gnome friends. Class size is limited to 16 Imagineers. Registration for this program begins on Monday, September 12th in the Children's Room.

Banned Books Storytime Wednesday, September 28th 6pm-7pm Drop In Ages 4 and up What do Maurice Sendak, Dr. Seuss, A.A. Milne, and Shel Silverstein have in common? These beloved children's authors have all had their books BANNED across America at one time or another. Join us for a special storytime where we'll read some of these banned books aloud. Start 'em young: rebel, rebel!

Krafty Kids Wednesdays Starting September 7th 11am-5pm Drop In Ages 10 & under Children ages 10 & under are invited to drop-in and make a craft.There will be 75 crafts available on a first-come, first-served basis... be sure to come early!

Paws to Read Thursday, September 15th 5:30pm-6:30pm Drop In Ages 6-12 Want to brush up on your reading skills and love dogs? Practice with a therapy dog who loves to listen to stories! This is a drop-in program, no registration required. Children will have a 15 minute one-on-one reading session. All volunteer teams are from Windwalker Pet Therapy.

Minecraft Club for Kids First Tuesday of Every Month: This Month, September 6th 5:15pm - 6:15pm Grades 2-5 Register Online Space is limited. We provide laptops, accounts, and a secure server environment in which to explore and create! Registration for each session is separate and opens individually. Online registration for September 6th opened Tuesday, August 23rd & will continue until the program is filled. (Online Registration for October's Minecraft Session will open the night of Tuesday, September 6th.)

Tween Time Wednesday, September 14th 6pm-7pm Ages 9-12 Register Online Come join other 9-12 year-olds for fun with friends! This month our program is "Pokemon IRL." It's Pokemon...in real life! No devices necessary. Gotta catch 'em all!

Heritage Ballet Sign-Up Date: Monday, September 19th Class Start Date: October 6th Class End Date: June 8th Thursdays from 3:00-3:45pm for 4 & 5 yr. olds Thursdays from 4:00-4:55pm for 5 & 6 yr. olds Register Online Free ballet classes at the library for children ages 3 to 6 taught by a talented ballet instructor. Fall Storytime at the Cumberland Public LibraryThe Fall Storytime Session Will Begin Monday, October 3rd. All storytimes are drop-in, no registration required! Babies and Books Storytime Mondays, October 3 - November 14 at 10am Birth through 23 months Connect with your baby through stories, rhymes, and songs, followed by a play time. Pajama Family Storytime Mondays, October 3 - November 14 at 6:30pm For children of all ages and their families. Listen to some stories, sing some songs, and have fun! Pajamas and stuffed friends optional. Tales for 3's Tuesdays, October 4 - November 15 at 10am Storytime designed with three-year-olds in mind. Join us for stories, songs, and laughter. Tales for 4's and 5's Tuesdays, October 4 - November 15 at 1:30pm A fun storytime with a focus on great picture books for children ages 4 & 5. Tales for 2's Wednesdays, October 15 - November 16 at 10am A storytime for two-year-olds that's anything but terrible!
