World Dance and Music Center Wednesday, June 28th 10am Children Ages 5 - 12 Tickets Required Children ages 5-12 are invited to come enjoy a lesson on Polynesian dance. Lola will perform a variety of dance styles from Polynesia, with an explanation about the music, props, and costuming. Tickets will be available in the Children’s Room starting Monday, June 19th for 50¢.

Playing it Safe with Dogs Thursday, June 29th 10am Children Ages 5 - 12 Tickets Required Each year more than 3,000,000 children across the country are bitten by dogs. This presentation helps the audience understand what they need to do to be safe around all dogs, including their own pets. Tickets will be available in the Children’s Room starting Monday, June 19th for 50¢.

Krafty Kids returns Wednesday, June 28th 11am - 5 pm Drop In Grade Five & under Children in grades five & under are invited to drop-in and make a craft.There will be 75 crafts available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tween Time Wednesday, June 21st 6 pm - 7 pm Ages 9-12 Register Online Come join other 9-12 year-olds for fun with friends! This month our program is “Building a Mystery: Geocaching and Letterboxing”. Treasure hunt using clues and coordinates! Learn how to make and find geocaches and letterboxes, explore the library and the grounds to see if you can find a few, and leave behind some of your own. Online registration required.

Minecraft Club for Kids First THURSDAY of Every Month: June 1st program is FULL. 5:15 pm - 6:15 pm Grades 2-5 Register Online Space is limited. We provide laptops, accounts, and a secure server environment in which to explore and create! Registration for each session is separate and opens individually. Registration for July's Minecraft Session will open Thursday, June 1st at 6:15 pm.

Summer Storytime
at the Cumberland Public Library The Summer Storytime Session will begin on Monday, July 10th!
All storytimes are drop-in, no registration required! Babies and Books Storytime Mondays, July 10 - August 7 at 10 am Birth through 23 months Connect with your baby through stories, rhymes, and songs, followed by a play time *There will be no Storytime on Monday, May 15th. Starlight Family Storytime Mondays, July 10 - August 7 at 6:30 pm All Ages For children of all ages and their families. Put on your pajamas and participate with your favorite bedtime pal in stories, songs, and fun! Family Storytime at the Gazebo Wednesdays, July 12 - August 9 at 10 am For children of all ages and their families. Children and families will meet in the gazebo behind the library for this special summer storytime. Join us for stories, songs, and laughter. In the case of rain, meet inside in the Children's Room.
