Join us this summer for our Adult Summer Reading Program! There will be weekly prizes for turning in book reviews and a grand prize at the end of the summer. Many exciting events including 2 summer concerts and an adult magic show will be featured. The 2015 Summer Reading Program is made possible through funding from Cumberland Public Library, the Rhode Island Office of Library and Information Services, the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Friends of the Cumberland Library. Registration begins June 22nd.

Best Year Yet: Meditation & The Brain: Our Link To Being And The Universe Wednesday, June 10th at 6:00 PM How can meditation grant us insight into why we are here and what is our true purpose? How can meditation help us unravel the mysteries of life and promote human unity and the realization that we are one with everything? Dr. Post will expand our understanding of the meditative process, its rich spiritual history, and the connective link it provides to the Cosmos. There will be an opportunity to learn and participate in an introductory meditation practice and Q&A following the presentation.
