Every Thursday morning, we will offer coffee and a light snack as well as social games to enjoy. Have a morning cup of Joe, socialize with other members of the community, and enjoy jigsaw puzzles, chess and other games.

“Under The Wide And Starry Sky” by Nancy Horan.
At the age of thirty-five, Fanny Van de Grift Osbourne has left her philandering husband in San Francisco to set sail for Belgium, with her three children and nanny in tow—to study art. She meets Robert Louis Stevenson. Fanny does not immediately take to the young lawyer who longs to devote his life to writing. In time, she succumbs to Stevenson’s charms. The shared life of these two strong-willed individuals unfolds into an impassioned and unpredictable adventure.

Ages 2 1/2 - 5 years: Children build the early literacy skills needed for school readiness while having fun through books, songs, activities and art. Bring a snack to enjoy after storytime and we will supply the beverage.

Ages 5-8: From water drop races to spaghetti and marshmallow buildings, from milk painting to the fluid mechanics of gloop, kids have fun with STEa.m. activities.

Ages 5 and up: A box full of little plastic blocks can become rockets, castles, robots or whatever you can envision. Use our Legos and create masterpieces based on our theme of the day. We have Duplos and regular Legos.

Teen DYI Electronics Workshop

Ages 12 and Up: Have fun learning some basic electronics. Make an audio oscillator and take it home with you.
Movie Lock-In!

Ages 9 and Up: Get locked in at the library for a night at the movies. Enjoy popcorn and soda while watching a movie on Haddon's big screen. Check with us for the movie title. This is an after-hours event and requires a permission slip signed by a parent or guardian. Permission slips are available at the library, and must be received before the date of the event.
